Serve as an adjunct Instructor/Professor at Mississippi Valley State University ( MVSU ).Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses and participating in some departmental activities. Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching and should provide evidence of a commitment to effective teaching and mentoring. Occasional monitoring and training of students for departmental activities may be required on a project-by-project basis. Successful candidates should demonstrate a genuine desire to contribute to themission of MVSU .Other requirements and skills include:Ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to effectively communicate.Ability to work well with people with diverse backgrounds.Strong writing and editing skills.Required QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or Master's degree in relevant field of study or closely related field, or 18 graduate credit hours in the subject matter area for which the application is submitted.All Adjunct instructors/professors are required to participate in adjunct-faculty orientation and online teaching workshops prior to employment.Preferred QualificationsAbility to maintain confidentiality.
