Position Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Local Delivery Driver! In this role, you will drive a delivery vehicle, delivering products to various customers, including those in the foodservice industry. You will be responsible for rotating and stocking products on shelves, displays, coolers, and vending machines. Additionally, you will build small displays and set up promotional materials. You will generate invoices and manage daily cash and charge settlements.

This role involves regular interaction with store management and personnel for load acceptance. You will be required to lift and load cases weighing between 20-45 pounds and occasionally push or pull loads ranging from 40-150 pounds. Your physical capabilities will come into play as you reach, squat, and bend to deliver and merchandise products. You will unload pallets using electronic pallet jacks or hand trucks and place products in designated areas in the store's backroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver products and execute all promotions efficiently.
• Service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
• Merchandise accounts to meet local standards.
• Establish positive working relationships with main contacts at each account.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass a DOT drug test and DOT Physical.
• A valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status is required.

Please note that in all California locations except Stockton, we accept both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status. In Stockton, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.

Helpful Experience:

• Operating trucks that require a valid U.S. CDL license.
• Adhering to all DOT regulations and documentation.
• Merchandising products effectively.
• Using equipment to assist in hauling loads (e.g., pallet jacks).
• Operating delivery equipment such as lift gates, hand trucks, etc.
• Successfully communicating in English.

Given that this role involves regular interactions with customers and managing product deliveries, a review of criminal history may be conducted as part of the hiring process per applicable laws. A conditional job offer will depend on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
