Position Description

Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) on all equipment according to instructions provided with work order (MTO) and directions from group leader. Repair equipment by cleaning, replacing defective parts, motors, etc. per work order. Installs, test and maintains mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools, and electrical equipment and fixtures per work order. Performs repairs on equipment such as pumps, punch presses, press brakes, fin presses, turret presses, rivet guns, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety, environmental, and property protection policies
• Ability to dismantle, repair, install all types of manufacturing equipment
• Ability to operate Band Saws, Lathes, Drill Press, and Welders
• Evaluate and recommend improvements and/or repair methods for equipment
• Ability to function in a team orientated work place
• Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings
• Perform repairs on electronically controlled equipment, gauges, hoists, etc.

Required Education & Qualifications

• AAS in related field a plus

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance role
• Proficient in mathematics
• Very good mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of PLC's and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Fin Press operation a plus
• Basic Industrial Electrical knowledge

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED.

TRAVEL:

Minimal travel involved, but may be required.
