Overview
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager to join their team in Greenwood, MS. The POM Manager manages eight associates and helps leadership plan, administer and direct all activities, ensuring compliance with the standards established by Aramark and the client. Focuses on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives and customer needs, and delivering the services Aramark is contracted to provide. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to plant operations and maintenance (POM) management.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, schedule, assign, supervise and/or perform the regular and recurring or irregular maintenance, repair and installation work at assigned facilities
- Maintain a variety of records; compile reports of cost of completed work; prepare status reports on in-progress projects
- Respond to emergency call-out and unanticipated facilities repairs, such as mechanical, plumbing, heating or electrical outages
- Inspect assigned facilities conditions; control routine maintenance tasks performed; determine need for repair; resolve problems by making the necessary corrections or repair and schedule annual maintenance of facilities and building components
- Oversee Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to ensure all equipment is operational, compliant, and meets state health and life safety requirements
- Assist in preparing bid specifications, solicitation of bids for capital equipment and repair services; purchase equipment, supplies and services within budgetary limitations; develop an annual list of prioritized projects
- Provide estimates and forecasts of workload, work force capability and other projections to assist in long-range planning
- Work and operate equipment as workload and complexity dictate
- Utilize computer and computer programs, e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Utilize CMMS Facility Fit Pro work order program

Qualifications
- Requires at least 2-3 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance (POM) management
- Mississippi State Driver's License
- Requires at least 2 years of prior experience in mentoring and developing hourly associates
- Requires a Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Facilities Management Certification such as Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) or equivalent is preferred
- Requires working knowledge of facility related equipment such as boilers, chillers, generators and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC/R) systems, plumbing, construction, electrical, air quality
- Ability to demonstrate visionary leadership, balanced judgment and disciplined execution
- High degree of integrity and business maturity
- Previous profit and loss (P&L) experience is preferred
- Demonstrated time management skills resulting in prioritizing time and resources accordingly
- High energy and self-motivated
- Ability to communicate effectively as the leader of a team
- Demonstrate proven success in interfacing with a variety of organizational functions
- Requires negotiation skills to drive results
