The HVAC Technician is responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in the areas of HVAC systems, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical. Duties and Responsibilities. PLC systems for HVACHVAC System repairs / upgrades. Maintain Freon usage Log. Ventilation system installations & maintenance. Gas distribution line install / maintenance. Machine repair. Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling and malfunctions. Operate the personnel lifts. Operate forklifts. Perform repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as; changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards. Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas. Build or fabricate labels, devices, etc. to improve quality and production. Use hand and power tools. Move equipment. Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering, maintenance and inventory supply check in / out using CMMS system.
