We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee projects based on new service applications. This role involves gathering and analyzing project information, meeting with customers, and ensuring successful project completion. Responsibilities include gathering information about projects based on new service applications, meeting customers in person as required to discuss project details, visually inspecting existing electric distribution equipment such as transformers, poles, and wires, taking measurements, creating sketches, and preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), preparing customer agreements based on collected project information, ensuring customers have obtained the requisite permits, and scheduling energizations after the customers' electricians' work is complete and project requirements are fulfilled.
Essential skills include experience in project management and project coordination, proficiency in using MS Office Suite, ability to conduct field surveys and create site layouts, knowledge of overhead, underground, and vault electrical systems, and experience with Asset Suite 8. Additional skills and qualifications include strong customer service skills, capability to sketch elevations and site layouts based on visual inspections, and ability to stay highly organized.
This position is 100% remote but requires candidates to be local to Oakbrook or Chicago for field visits. The role operates on a 1st shift schedule, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
