Amotec is currently supporting a search for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager. Located in Tate County, MS, our client is a leading manufacturer in the construction materials industry. As EHS Manager, you will develop and oversee safety programs to ensure a compliant and safe work environment. EHS Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA).
• Lead the site's EHS strategy, setting goals and objectives that integrate corporate and site-specific safety initiatives.
• Conduct training for all employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and environmental compliance.
• Manage internal and external EHS audits, ensuring there are no significant business interruptions due to safety or compliance issues.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Foster a culture of safety throughout the site by developing and leading EHS capability-building efforts.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

EHS Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental standards preferred.
• Certifications such as CSP or CIH are a plus.
